Jason D. Hood is the principal attorney and founding member of Hood Law Firm LLC, and represents clients in state and federal courts throughout Georgia and South Carolina. Jason has over 15 years of combined legal and business experience as in-house counsel and small firm litigation experience. He is a skilled courtroom litigator, representing clients before judges, juries, and administrative agencies in complex civil and criminal matters in state and federal court. He also serves as an arbitrator in various business and franchise matters nationwide for the American Arbitration Association and the ICDR.
Jason previously served as in-house counsel for a large personal lines insurance company in its 18 state regional headquarters, where his primary responsibility was drafting and implementing the company’s corporate governance policies and procedures, including participation in legislative efforts surrounding insurance reform.
Jason is originally from Jasper County and Eliam Baptist Church has deep family roots in the community, where his great-great-grandfather, Homer Minter, served as pastor and his great-great-great-grandfather, William Davidson, was one of the original church deacons. Jason is an active member of Washington Street Baptist Church in Thomaston, Georgia and he serves on several community boards, including Chairman of the Board of Directors, Thomaston-Upson Family Connection, Inc., Member of the Vestry, Christ Episcopal Church, Thomaston, Georgia, and has been an active volunteer and coach with the Thomas Street Bulldogs Youth Football Program for the past four years.
Joshua M. Hood received his undergraduate degree (2008) at Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. He received his Law Degree from Georgia State University (2011). Joshua has been involved in many issues that revolved around representation of clients subject to governmental sanctions in administrative actions, including license suspensions, human and drug trafficking, asset forfeiture hearings, and corporate investigations and penalties.
Coleman Anthony Jones (Cole) received his undergraduate degree (2010) at Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Georgia. He received his Law Degree from Alabama (Birmingham) School of Law (2013). Coleman is now in private practice as of March 2017. His primary areas of practice are business and corporate law, criminal defense, real estate, land use and zoning, and personal injury.
